Last May, voice actor Scott Whyte, who embodies the character of Crash in the video game series, came out to us via his Instagram account as he spoke with fellow actor Lex Lang and that they were working on a new project together, and for those who do not know Scott and Lex, they participate in the Crash Bandicoot franchise. Lex plays Neo Cortex. And it looks like the official announcement of the new Crash Bandicoot project is coming soon.
Today, Activision sent Wumpa piñatas to media and video game industry influencers, which suggests a new game might be about to be announced. These packages were sent in preparation for the 25th anniversary of Crash Bandicoot. Incidentally, Activision has done similar things in the lead up to the previous announcements as well, including the Spyro Reignited Trilogy and Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled game.
And with the PlayStation event coming in less than two hours, coinciding with the anniversary of the Crash Bandicoot series, we could see Activision announce the new Crash Bandicoot project today, and it will be a big surprise, of course.
