The current disappointing production quality can be attributed to the complexity of the design. Which differs significantly from previous generations of the watch. Assemblers have found problems when assembling electronic units, components and displays.
As a result, production of the new watch has been paused as the company and its suppliers try to solve problems and adopt designs further before going into mass production.

And Bloomberg reported that this year’s watches come in sizes 41 and 45 millimeters, up from 40 and 44 millimeters.
The company is expected to introduce several new watch faces that take advantage of the larger screen, including an updated Infograph Modular face.
This is the second time the company has increased the screen size, after the Apple Watch Series 4 three years ago.
