From YSL to Londis: Model Kate Moss hops between two very different stores with her daughter Lila
She may be a multimillionaire fashion icon, but you can still pick up Kate Moss among her trademark baked beans and discount wine at the local store.
The supermodel was spotted on both ends of the retail scale last week: browsing haute couture for designers’ Mayfair boutiques, then stocking up on essentials in the Lowndes neighborhood.
Kate and her daughter Lily visited the upscale Yves Saint Laurent department store on Bond Street in London on Tuesday. The 47-year-old, fully masked, wears a long gray coat over a black cardigan with light jeans and leather knee-high boots, paired with a large pair of sunglasses and a massive black leather bag.
Meanwhile, 19-year-old Lily was dressed in black leather pants, a chunky Dr. Martins and a camel polo collar under a sleek black coat.

On a three-hour shopping spree, the couple also visited Celine and Dior outlets, before being driven away in a chauffeur-driven Mercedes.
By Friday, Kate was back in her country retreat in the Cotswolds, where she ventured to the shops with her old friend James Brown, the celebrity hairstylist who had been sharing her home during lockdown.
The hooded Kate managed to stun in her sweatshirt, baggy jeans, and sneakers under a long flowing blue coat and a large woven shopping bag. The supermodel chatted with locals at the shop in Lechlade-on-Thames before wandering into the Cats Pajamas gift shop, perhaps seeking inspiration for Christmas stockings.
“Kate is always happy to talk to the people she meets,” said a local.
She and James picked up takeaway coffee from a health food store and visited a charity store during a 45-minute stroll around the picturesque town.
