The Facebook platform displays the number of likes that posts on the platform get, as evidence of users’ interaction with the post.
The platform recently added a bunch of new effects to posts instead of just the popular Like button.
Some rely on the number of likes for a Facebook post as a quality guide or not, so the platform allows users to hide the number of likes to prevent cyberbullying and brag.

Your account is affected right after you hide the number of likes via the website version of the app, so you won’t see the number of likes visible on your phone.
You can also access the number of likes options through the Facebook application in smartphones, by following the following steps:
Open the Facebook app and then go to the settings in the appropriate way for your phone.
After that, head to the Newsletter Settings section of the app, and there you will find an option to control the settings for interacting with posts.

And you can repeat the previous steps to show the number of likes as you wish and at any time.
And if you hide the number of likes on your posts, this number will not appear to any user who sees your post.
