To activate the mode, follow these steps:

  • Windows 10’s Enhanced Search mode now begins indexing all existing disks, folders, and files.

  • You can speed up indexing in Enhanced Search Mode by excluding specific folders from the scan process.
  • The mode excludes many system folders by default.
