Leaked images of Google’s upcoming Pixel 6 give us our best look yet at the new features coming to the search giant’s next flagship smartphone.
The pictures reveal, which swarm it Evan Blass, on screenshots of the second generation Pixel Stand Wireless Charger, user interface details, and camera specifications, It also includes an indication of the biometric security of face unlock.
The leaks come a little less than two weeks before the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are officially announced on October 19.
There is not a lot of new unknown in these photos. But what it does offer is a better look at the features of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.
For example, the powerful new Pixel Stand is believed to support 23W fast charging according to an August leak, which is more than double what was offered by Google’s first-generation 10W wireless charger introduced with the Pixel 3.
It was previously reported that the Wireless Pixel Stand has a built-in fan for cooling. These images indicate that you may be able to switch your wireless charger between Performance Mode and Quiet Mode depending on whether you prioritize faster charging or silence.
The images also show the wireless charging interface with shortcuts to media playback and smart home controls.

Less information has been reported about the phones’ face unlock functionality, which appears in a single image via a settings page titled “Security”. The company previously included face unlock across the Pixel 4. But the feature was absent from the Pixel 5 lineup.
There is also a shot of the back of the Pixel 6 Pro showing three cameras. Google previously confirmed that the Pixel 6 Pro has an ultra-wide-angle camera that surrounds the main camera. But this photo confirms rumors that it uses 12MP, 48MP, and 50MP sensors respectively.
Other shots include a look at the phone’s charger, which won’t be included in the box, as well as photos of the phone sprayed with water, indicating it has an IP rating for dust and water resistance.
The main feature that the images can’t provide more details about is the Tensor processor designed specifically for the Pixel 6 phone, which the company says improves the machine learning capabilities of the phones.
