Over the past period, the French publishing company Focus Home Interactive has begun to expand significantly and acquire many development teams, the last of which was the studio Deck13 Interactive, which gave us two parts of The Surge, in addition to acquiring 77.5% of the shares of the French studio Dotemu, the developer who gave us my game Streets of Rage 4 and Windjammers 2. And the French company is rebranding.
Today, Focus Home Interactive has officially announced that it is rebranding as Focus Entertainment. In its press release, the company stated:
From now on, the Focus Entertainment brand covers all of Focus’s activities, with the term Entertainment representing the desire to diversify games, products, services and revenue streams. The Entertainment brand also underscores the ambition to deliver unique experiences to players around the world.
The company expressed its desire for the acquisitions that took place during the last period as it seeks to integrate talent and studios with unique visions of the company in order to provide new ideas and provide unique ways of playing and distinct experiences for players.
