Boxing fans have claimed that Jack Paul’s win over Tyron Woodley on Saturday was fraudulent to allow a YouTuber to win after an alleged signal from the former was discovered to hit the deck.
Paul declared victory in Tampa Saturday night via a brutal right hand in the sixth round that left former UFC star Woodley, who lost to the streaming star via a separate decision in August, after a hit.
But video footage from the rematch shows Paul twisting his right glove in what appears to be a signal to his opponent, just seconds before Woodley hits the surface.
Fans criticized the fight over the accusation that it was prearranged to allow Paul to win.
One fan captured a video of the alleged gesture before captioning it: ‘Forged? Hand wrapped to tell him it’s time to flop?’

Another tweeted: ‘Maybe it wasn’t that the punch was fake, he was ready to take the plunge and Paul did it enough to actually knock him down convincingly’
One boxing fan added: “Jake Paul KO was 100% fake. No fighter would eat that right hand at least without moving his head to try to slip on it.
Watching the twists on Jake Pauls’ wrist before he casts it, sounds like a cue to me. Woodley Defoe paid to eat it.
Meanwhile, a fan posted: “Jake Paul Lowe left his right hand before throwing the punch and Tyrone dropped his guard when the punch came..if that’s not a fake I don’t know what #PaulWoodley2 is”
A video clip appeared to show Paul making a purported right hand gesture seconds before the knockout
However, some fans claimed that the knockout was real and defended the undefeated Paul to produce another stellar show in the ring.
One fan said: “If anyone thinks this was faked they are either as stupid as f*** or have never seen boxing in their life. You all discredit it does not matter. Close *** or enter the ring yourself and do a good win tonight”
Another claimed: ‘I despise Jake Paul but that was actually a good, clean shot. He was coming, you called him for 10 seconds before you could see the right hand holding. Not fake, no paying, Tyron spoiled big time and slept for it.
Meanwhile, a fan said, “It wasn’t a fake, stop being salty. He threw right hooks on the body all night and dropped his hand wooden jigsaw to save his ribs.”
This isn’t the first time Paul has been accused of manipulation after angry boxing fans accused Woodley of not wanting to win their first fight in August.
Paul won the Cleveland Summer Contest by split decision after both fighters went the distance, with the winning judge awarding 24 with a 78-74 win after the other two judges bid 77-75 for each fighter.
Supporters questioned why former UFC welterweight champion Woodley failed to cash in on a stunned Paul when the 39-year-old landed his right hand on top of the star’s flowing head in the fourth round to send him to the ropes.
One fan said at the time: ‘You should ask if it has been fixed or not. Woodley backs away and doesn’t gasp at all. Paul gasping for air.

Another tweeted: ”I felt like Woodley was told not to fire him…This game is fixed. Fingers crossed in order to fight rage because it is a completely different ball game. # Woodley Bull.
Meanwhile, one fan said, “This is a frustrating fight. Woodley would walk him down and then stand in front of him and not throw a punch. This needs to be fixed.”
Woodley was brought in as a substitute late Saturday night in the fight for Tommy Fury, who pulled out with a chest injury and a broken rib last week.
The former UFC star agreed to a rematch, with Paul claiming Woodley was in training when the YouTuber asked him to replace Fury.

Paul also added in a $500,000 clause if Woodley is able to knock out the YouTuber in Tampa, while the 24-year-old gifted his opponent a £9,000 Rolex just days before the competition.
YouTube is now looking to take on UFC superstars Jorge Masvidal or Nate Diaz in a future crossover fight as he continues his ascent in the boxing world.
Immediately afterwards, Paul said: “This is as true as it gets, just as my right hand is. I told you, I was going to visit him. And I do.

This guy is a legend and he is respected because he got into the fight in two weeks. Tommy Fury is a **** dad for pulling out of combat.
It was a tough fight. I had blood in my eyes. You got the job done. I was preparing the whole fight. He didn’t see him coming. Like lumberjack, timber.
It must be the moment of my life. Look at my year. Four fights, four knockouts. Masvidal and Nate Diaz – You b ***** to leave this arena. I will be with you too. Anyone, anytime, anywhere.
