It’s the season of fun, and one foolproof way to spread joy amidst all the uncertainty is to embrace this season’s trend of well-being; Wear appropriate clothing, even if you don’t leave the house afterwards.

If a new outfit is available, make it extravagant. Check out H&M’s cool new collection, The Round Design Story. It’s truly High Street party wear like we’ve never seen before.

An oversized organza polka dot design (pictured, second from right) makes a defiantly festive statement and is sure to keep people at a distance! It’s surprisingly expensive for H&M, so if you want to save your pounds, reinvent one of your current dresses by elevating it with accessories.

At Christmas more than ever, all eyes are on the details. A simple and effective way to give vintage pieces a new lease of life is with a pair of adorable earrings, a statement bag or some pretty shoes. Let’s start with the bags. If you thought the cross body designs were only for daytime use, think again – they’re perfect for evening, too. Just look at Dune’s practical but stunning designs in eye-catching colors (above, center).

If you can turn off the practicalities, enjoy timeless fabrics you’ll never get tired of: luxurious satins and rich velvets as used by designer Emma Garner in her beautiful Isla Risa bags (second from left and far right). There are a large number of luxury shoes out there. A pair of heels is a wardrobe staple, even if you don’t have a place far from the dining table to swing at.

Shiny strappy sandals, crystal embellished slip-ons, shiny court shoes; If you go for a fun detail of the classic style, you’ll be wearing it after Christmas.

High heels are not your only option. There wasn’t a lot of great apartments to choose from. Dee Ocleppo’s metallic designs (second from left) will let you dance day and night.

And for the cherry on top, the resistance piece: the gems. More definitely this season – it’s okay if you shine more than your tree.

When it comes to earrings, look for shoulder cleaners at Zara (center right). Otherwise, opt for sparkling rings, like Deborah Blyth’s handcrafted designs, and you’ll find bold bangles at Merola. And for those who like two cherries on top, hair accessories will perfectly finish the procedures. Millinery is having a moment and it’s not just for custom hats – look for headbands, bows and spark clips.

You’re aiming for a walking and talking disco ball this season; Anything less than that and you should be disappointed.
