Bugsnax developer fully transitions to a four day week methodology

New generation game developer Young Horses, Bugsnax, has announced that it has moved entirely to a four-day week approach.

The developer decided to take this final decision to improve the health status of its employees, and as a report indicated Axios The studio tested this methodology last July and has now decided to rely entirely on it in the way it operates.

In the official developer’s statements, he confirmed that the studio’s small staff (only eight people) helped them easily apply the methodology, but he believes that it is still applicable in larger studios.

The problem of forcing employees to work extra hours and putting them in great professional pressure is one of the most prominent old and persistent problems in the gaming industry, and therefore the pursuit of such work methodologies would alleviate the problem.
