Asus has unveiled a handful of new laptops with content makers in mind.
Designers and illustrators who have used ScreenPad in any laptop for the past few years find the expanded space and features looking attractive with the latest version.
Andannounced The company announced the ProArt StudioBook 16 OLED and ProArt StudioBook 16 Pro OLED, two of the first 16-inch laptops to feature 4K OLED HDR displays.
According to the company, the displays cover 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut and offer a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio (both uncommon among 4K OLED panels).
Laptops are targeted at professional content creators working on color-sensitive applications.
Both devices come with a new peripheral called the Asus Dial, which is a physical wheel on the left side of the keyboard.
Users can set this controller to set various parameters in Adobe applications. Which Asus says includes After Effects, Photoshop, Photoshop Lightroom Classic, and Premiere Pro.
The ProArt StudioBook 16 OLED and ProArt StudioBook 16 Pro OLED are available in the fourth quarter, starting at $1,999 and $2,499, respectively.
The difference between the two models can be in the chips. The ProArt StudioBook 16 Pro OLED can come with an AMD Ryzen 5000 H-Series mobile processor or an Intel Xeon processor as well as an Nvidia RTX A2000 or Nvidia RTX A5000 GPU.
The ProArt StudioBook 16 OLED comes with a Ryzen 5000H or Intel Core i7 chip and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 or Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 GPU.

The VivoBook line is also equipped with OLED screens, and some even have a digital version of the Asus Dial built into the touchpad. 14-, 15- and 16-inch models start at $749.
The new ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED geared towards content makers is also coming in Q4 (priced at $2,799). It features the distinctive secondary touch screen from Asus on the surface of the keyboard.
A single-screen ZenBook Pro 15 OLED version is also available, starting at $1,469.
ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED includes up to Intel Core i9 processors and an RTX 3070 GPU. The ZenBook Pro 15 OLED has Ryzen 5000 processors and an Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti GPU.
ExpertBook business laptops also get OLED panels. Both the new ExpertBook B5 OLED and convertible B5 Flip OLED convertible are powered by 11th generation Intel processors. With prices starting at $1,299.
The company hit the mobile market last year with its ZenBook 13 OLED. It introduced a display technology that was once a luxury technology low price Up to $800.
And after Samsung announced its plans to mass produce OLED panels for laptops this year. It was only a matter of time before this screen reached smaller models at scale.
