Apple to hold its next hardware event on October 18

Apple’s next hardware event is on October 18, according to the invitations I’ve sent out. The event is scheduled to take place at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park in Cupertino, California.

The company often holds a second event in October or November when there are plenty of products to come in the fall months. As in 2021.

The company is widely expected to use its second fall event to launch new MacBooks, a high-quality redesigned Mac mini, and possibly third-generation AirPods.

And the advocacy video captures one word: Unleash. And as shown in Tweet From the company’s chief marketing officer, Greg Joswiak, the word appears in a dotted line that can hint at mini LED technology.

The special event is broadcast live on Location at 8 PM KSA.

There have been reports for months that the company is about to launch new 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro models. The new MacBooks are the latest step in the company’s move away from Intel chips, and replace it with an ARM-based processor called the M1X that Apple designs itself.

The new chip can boost performance compared to the M1 chip that first appeared last year, as Mark Gorman of Bloomberg reported that the M1X has 10 CPU cores compared to 8 cores for the M1 processor, in addition to graphics processors with 16 or 32 cores compared With 7 or 8 cores in M1.

Other expected features include the return of fan-favorite MacBook features like MagSafe magnetic charging, an HDMI port, and an SD card slot.

And the OLED touch bar could be on the way out. Gorman recently noted that the company’s current MacBook Pro stock appears to be declining.

Apple’s Unleashed event focuses on Macs

Rumors suggest that the same M1X processor may appear in the high-end redesigned Mac mini. The new device is said to have more ports than last year’s M1 model. With two Thunderbolt / USB 4 Type-C ports and two USB Type-A ports. The changes should make the new Mac mini more convenient for power users.

Moreover, the company may also announce redesigned AirPods. Which represents the third generation of the company’s original wireless earbuds. The AirPods are expected to adopt a design similar to the AirPods Pro, with shorter stems and a redesigned charging case.
