Apple stops production of iPhone XR and iPhone 12 Pro


With the advent of a large number of new iPhones, many models have come out. Apple this year discontinued the iPhone XR, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max in preparation to make room for the iPhone 13 lineup.

The arrival of the iPhone XR coincided with the disappearance of the last iPhones with headphone ports. And while the transition this year isn’t nearly as dramatic. But it does include a shift in the cheaper options in the lineup.

The iPhone XR was available for $499. But the price of the iPhone 11 fell by $100 to cover the shortfall. At the launch of the iPhone 11, Apple said that the latest device offers up to an hour of additional battery life compared to its predecessor, the ultra-fast U1 chip for finding things, and the latest A13 Bionic CPU.

The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini also received $100 price cuts, bringing their starting prices to $699 and $599, respectively. The iPhone SE still retails for $399.

As for the new Pro devices, they are not the cheapest. But once the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max start shipping on day 24, they offer high refresh rate screens, a new camera system, as well as improvements to the CPU and GPU.

iPhone 13 models feature 128GB of storage, which goes over 64GB, with no price increase.

The iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max can be ordered with a storage capacity of up to terabytes. The new iPhones are available for pre-order on Friday and officially launched on September 24.
