‘I healed well, and I was like, can I get lipo?’ The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo author said. ‘And I got lipo and I’m feeling really good.’

Schumer first opened up about undergoing the procedure in a January 18 Instagram post, in which she showed gratitude toward the medical professionals who helped her get her ‘strength back’ via the liposuction and endometriosis-related operations.

‘I feel good,’ she said. ‘Finally … never thought i would do anything but talk to me after your uterus doesn’t contract for 2.5 years and you turn 40.’

Schumer told Handler about her public candor on the health procedures, ‘I just wanted to say that, because if anybody sees me in pictures or anything and they’re like, she looks thinner, and whatever: it’s because I had a surgery.

‘It’s too hard, and I just want to be real about it.’
