A daughter whose mother had her seventh child at 51, 35 years after her first baby, has slammed trolls who criticized her choices.
Kayla Caldwell, 33, from St. Louis, Missouri, documented her mother Kimberly Chasteen’s pregnancy on TikTok after she had successful IVF treatment with donor eggs and sperm, at a cost of $35,000.
However, one of her videos, which racked up more than 1.3 million views, attracted a swathe of negative comments from viewers who said that her mother was too old to have another child.
Her daughter responded to trolls, saying that her mother is really content after having baby Tyrique on March 17.
Kimberly first tied her tubes at 20 after her first three children but reversed the operation at 30 to welcome three more kids.
After this, the grandmother underwent another tubal litigation at 34 only to reverse the operation in 2019 after meeting a younger man.
The relationship didn’t work out, but, Kimberley still dreamt of having a seventh child and dedicated the next three years to falling pregnant.
